The Graphic Score Competition
For the past 2 years, in collaboration with “Music in Motion,” Victor Gischler has run a graphic score competition at the University level. The competition encourages the creation, performance, and appreciation of graphic scores amongst emerging composers. While the competition was originally just for LSU students, it is slowly expanding to include a select group of universities.
2025 - 2026 Competition
This year we are proud to announce the competition as expanded to three new schools: Peabody Institute, St. Louis University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. If you currently attend LSU or any of these schools, we would like to invite you to submit to the competition! Feel free to ask for the form and email for the competition on the contact page.
